No Title

So, I'm sitting here, minding my own business, eating some bryers chocolate ice cream with Hershey's chocolate syrup and sprinkles, and "Stumbling" and the first site I came across as I sit here is http://www.extrapounds.com/ . WTF is that all about! I have been doing so good on my diet, which means I have lost about 33 lbs and I have one weak moment and karma rears it's ugly head! How dare it! I am going to finish my sundae and I am going to enjoy it very much. I have not had real ice cream for a very long time! I have been eating crappy sugar free ice cream or no ice cream for a very long time and I am tired of it! I LOVE ICE CREAM!! There I've said it. I'm done now and I feel better.
See ya soon!

I was going to blog about how I don't care about celebrities personal lives and how I can't understand why we feel their private lives are our business, but I got bored with it because frankly, I don't care enough.
So I will do a few stumbles and let you know what I find. First we have this little video about smart animals. I think that 99% of animals are extremly intelligent. Here is proof.
http://www.flurl.com/featured/Smart_Animals_77244.html
Next I came across that My Heritage facial recognition thing, which is here
http://www.myheritage.com/FP/Company/tryFaceRecognition.php?s=1&u=g0&lang=EN
You upload a photo of yourself and it tells you what celebrities you look like. I look most like Pamela Anderson. Not bad if I do say so myself! Does this contradict my, I don't care about celebrities thing?
Next we have a few amusing photos

So next I came across this website http://stuffonmycat.com/index.php?catid=14&blogid=1 which cracks me up! The kitty in the first picture is hilarious.
And then after that, nothing worth talking about came up.
I am uber bored today because I am waiting for people to send me work. I hate these days. When I sit around for hours waiting and waiting. There is nothing to do, so I decide to blog, but since I am bored with nothing to do, you end up with crap like this!
Sorry I couldn't do more today, i just don't have a lot to say today! Like they say, no news is good news!!
BLAH, whatever!

Easter Weekend and Preparing for Vaca!

Here are a few too many pictures of my kids this past weekend all dressed up for Easter.

This one is Budboy on his "race car" ride. Every year I take them to the Easter Egg Hunt at the Kena Shrine Temple. They find the eggs that are lovingly filled with candy and pennies, then there is a puppet show done by one of Jim Henson's former puppeteers and they have ice cream and cookies and lots of junk food. Then the long awaited Easter Bunny comes out and you can take your child's picture with him. This year was very un-organized and not as fun, but the kids didn't notice it, so I don't really care.

Of course, being that it was Easter weekend, that meant no race on Sunday. That makes me kind of sad, but then I didn't have to rush through lunch/dinner with my parents to get home to watch the race, so that was OK.

Now that Easter is over, I am really starting to prepare for my up coming vacation! I went tanning again today and now I smell like cooked meat again. Oh well. I put a butterfly sticker on my lower tummy for the sole purpose of being able to see a tan line in case one decided to show up. When I got out of the tanning bed and took the sticker off, I could see it plain as day. Then, when I got in the car, I went to show my girlfriend and it was gone! I am assuming that butterflies don't like the smell of cooked meat and it flew away. What other explanation could there be?

Two of my friends must be cleaning out their closets on a daily basis, because they both come into work everyday with new vacation clothes for me! Budman will be soooooooo happy about it because that means that is less shopping that I have to do! They have given me 3 very cute dresses for at night when we are at the beach bar, plus, dresses are much easier to remove when one is drunk *wink*.

This is my first vacation in 5 years. My last vacation was my honeymoon, which was to Cancun. We leave 3 weeks from yesterday, so we really leave in 2 weeks and 6 days! At some point I will be completely unable to contain my excitement about this trip.

The is one slight problem however. I am scared to death of flying. Even more so now that I have children. I am not sure how I am going to handle this situation. I have gotten some great advise from some good internets friends, but, when I think about it, I start to have a panic attack. My chest gets tight, I can't breathe, my vision gets a little more blurry then usual and I feel light headed. Even sitting here writing this is getting me all worked up. I'm going to call my doctor and see what she recommends. Hopefully I can get over it, or get something to help me get over it. I should just think about the wonderful time we will have their, just the two of us, no budkids for a week, don't get me wrong, I will miss them tremendously, but we really need a break. Like I said, it's been 5 years since my last vacation. I haven't been away from my budboy for more then 2 night since he was born!

I am going to call my DR right now...

Stay tuned....

DAMN DAMN DAMN

I spent quite a while earlier today writing a post called Monday's ramblings. It was about my WW meetings, how my Budman didn't do his RPDE because of the weather, and just some other mundane stuff. I came back to check it out and see if anyone made any comments and it isn't here!! Where is it?!? It was here and now it's not, I don't get it at all! It just doesn't make any sense! And now for some unknown reason, when I hit enter, the little blinking curser dissappears!!! This is driving me absolutly crazy! Now the Budkitty is licking my hand and trying his hardest to get between my fingers and the keyboard. I guess I will try again tomorrow and maybe I will have something more interesting to talk about. Have a good night all!

Budgyrl's I's

I got this idea from an internets friend TMLSB, who I would link to, but haven't figured it out yet so I kept his link, who got the idea here and the idea is this: Simply complete all of the I statements as honestly as you can. Or just complete them .
I am: smellin' like the rose that somebody gave me on my birthday deathbed
I miss: my grandmother and Harvey's Lake
I want: A house with a yard for my kids to play in
I have: a super cute kitty named Puddy
I loathe: rude people
I fear: riding in a plane
I play: my music loud
I hear: Gretchen Wilson right now
I care: about others including those I have never met
I smile: everytime I think about my kids
I wonder: What it would be like to be able to really sing
I poke: my husband when he is snoring like a freight train
I love: NASCAR
I mess: up a lot
I ache: when I realize I may not be completely happy
I think: I need to go back to school
I always: eat too many jelly beans
I am not: really good at anything except being a mom
I sing: off key and loud
I cry: more then I should
I talk: about stuff I shouldn't sometimes
I spill: my guts to people way to soon sometimes (thanks to beer)
I wish: I could talk to my grandmother one more time
I keep: Trying to make it work
I am not always: a good person
I can: always give more love
I can't: say no to someone in need
I write: crappy bolgs
I win: when I play Budboy at candyland
I lose: when I play bud teen at anything
I smell: my kids hair while they are sleeping
I confuse: a lot
I need: to lose 10 more lbs
I should: make myself happy

HO HUM...

I am unbelievably bored today. Today is a very slow day in the life of Budgyrl. So what do I do, I post to the blog and hope I find something to talk about before I get bored with this.
Let me start with a picture:

Look how big she has gotten right under my nose! She is 15 months old today. She goes for her check up tomorrow and last time she was underweight, so hopefully I have porked her up enough for the DR to be happy.

This is my big Budboy! Where did all that time go? How could my kids have gotten so big without me being aware of it?

This weekend is Budman's Richard Petty Driving Experience! I think I am more excited then he is. He will be doing the Rookie Experience which means he will actually get to drive the car for 8 laps around RIR, which also happens to be our favorite track! I think once we get there he is going to be like a little kid, all giddy and what not. I guess I can talk about that on Monday and hopefully I'll have some good pictures to post too.

I have a buffalo on my desk. A very small one. He is blue and white and has UB on his butt. I don't know where he came from, but I am assuming that the UB maybe stands for University of Buffalo. I could be wrong though, I have been wrong once or twice before, so it's been known to happen. I think I will name him Spike. He just kind of stands there like he is watching every move I make. I swear his little white eyes follow me where ever I go. He is actually starting to creep me out a little. He reminds me of the monkey that torments Chris on Family Guy. Fantastic, now I am going to have nightmares about buffalos. Is that right, buffalos or is it buffali? I am very unsure about that.

I may have wasted enough time with my nonsensical ramblings for now. We will see, I may be back later with more, I don't know yet.

GOOD LORD I'M BORED! Hey, that rhymes!

Amazing

Here is what I find amazing, the fact that there are still people out there who still actually believe all the crap that gets forwarded to them. Like for instance, just last week I got a forward from a very good friend of mine. I love her to death! Her little girl and mine are "BFF" and all that. The email I got from her was titled Coke vs. Water. You know the one I mean, where somebody says:

1. In many states (in the USA) the highway patrol carries two gallons of
coke in the truck to remove blood from the highway after a car accident.
2. You can put a T-bone steak in a bowl of coke and it will be gone in
two days.

And so on... It baffles the mind to think that people take everything at face value and don't question things like this, they just pass them along as a "warning". I appreciate that you think about me and want me to be safe or not get scammed or whatever, but at least do a bit of research on it before you waste my time and precious mailbox space! What's worse, she's a teacher who should know better!

She is just one example though, she usually only forwards jokes, which is fine with me and she is good about including a personal note so it isn't just a forward. My daddy, whom is the most wonderful perfect man in the universe, is another story all together. He forwards so much stuff to so many people, he was being investigated for being a spammer. Now that my friends, is bad. He is a rabid republican, which I am not, and during the election year and even after, he would send me all of these stories about democrats and how they are the spawn of Satan and blah blah blah. Every thing I would get a story about John Kerry or another Dem from him, I would go to the old trusty www.snopes.com, find the article and send him the page stating that it was false and the reasons why and all that. Ya know what he said, he said he refused to read such a left site.
So I did a little experiment, I found an article on snopes about Dubya, the one about how he has the lowest IQ of any president ever, which IMO is true, but that is for another day, and sent it to him and told him to send it to all his friends and spread the word and how could such a stupid man be pres and....
I waited a day, then sent him the page from snopes saying it was false. To my surprise, he read that one! Of course he did! Then he came back with, I knew that wasn't true you can't be stupid and be president, which started another debate, but again, for another day. I told him I was trying to teach him a lesson in the internets. I felt that he would be better after that. I could not have been more wrong. When I received the next fabrication, instead of just replying to him, I replied to all and sent the article from snopes, but I didn't link it, I copied and pasted it, then linked it so all would see! Of course almost all the people in his address book are old right men, so I got emails from all of them preaching the errors of my ways.

Wow, I really went with this didn't I? The moral of the story here kids is this, please, PLEEEEEEEASE, check the validity of something before you take it for fact, especially if it's something that says you will get a million dollars from Bill Gates, or a gift certificate from Gap or some other crap like that. There is no email tracking system so that little Timmy can get a dollar for everyone you forward this message to. For the love of all that is HOLY go to snopes and read a little before you spam my inbox with this crap!

Thank you for your time and remember, the more you know, the further you go!

Alright, Alright!

OK, so, all the cool kids are still doin it and I've slacked off. So, I'm going to try again. I'm going to try to remember to post at least once a week. We will see how that works out. Maybe I will copy my kick ass internets friends, Staci, Ethel, TMLS, Taz, Nine...and I think that is all, and do what they do. If any of you have suggested topics, let me know and I will write about it. Even if it is nonsence, I am a mother after all and have to come up with answers to strange questions on a regular basis, so this should be a peice of cake!

Anyway, to date, I have lost 30.6 lbs, which means I have 10 to go before I go on my long awaited vacation to Cancun for my 5th wedding anniversary. That means I have 5 weeks to loose 10 lbs. I keep saying I can do it, but then I keep having set backs. All I want to do is look hot in a bikini. Is that too much to ask? Well, I will have more to write tomorrow
